We have build a OPC UA Client and trying for OPC certification.
We were analyzing this test case for session services – ‘Server returns an untrusted certificate, i.e. signed by an untrusted authority.’
We are using OPC java stack (opc-ua-stack-1.4.1.jar) and this part is handled by the code in the jar. We wanted to know what happens when Server returns an untrusted certificate – does the code throw an exception or accept it?Â
We are working with simulation servers, so could not test the scenario, hence posting the query.
