Hello,Â
I’m wondering whether opc.typ endpoints are case sensitive. Looking into the spec I was not able to find anything, but that information may be hard to find.
I would assume that – if the spec does not say anything about it – the pertinent RFC should be followed. I have to admit I’m not 100% which one that might be, but in 3986 it says (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rf…..on-6.2.2.1) that scheme and host are case insensitive, while
“[..]The other generic syntax components are assumed to be case-sensitive unless specifically defined otherwise by the scheme [..]”.
Since I did not find anything ‘specifically defined otherwise’ I would assume that this applies. Is that correct?
Thank you in advance and bR,
Thomas
