Communication to the client freezes after a few days. Datatype Null|OPC UA Standard|Forum|OPC Foundation

Hello everyone.

I have a problem with the OPC UA communication between a self-programmed OPC UA server and an OPC UA client from Siemens NEO.

The data transfer to the client freezes after a few days.

This is noticeable as follow:

Value (no display)

Datatype Null

Source Timestamp 01:00:00.0000

Server Timestamp 01:00:00.0000

Statuscode Good

After browsing the OPC tag, the value will be updated again.

The server has a special feature: OPC tags alternately switch from the status code Good to BadResourceUnavailable for a longer period of time. The datatype changes from Double to Int32

Maybe someone has an idea what’s the reason.
