Hello all,
I’m new to OPC UA and was wondering if a server application can be setup running on a Windows machine to interface with a PLC such as the S7-1200?
Are there Python SDKs available to interface with the OPC UA server application?
What I am trying to achieve is, to read back safety sensor input status from the PLC and display it on a user interface and also send commands from the interface to enable motor drives.

A server on windows can be a UA client that talks to a PLC.
There are python implementations: https://github.com/FreeOpcUa/o…..ua-asyncio
